English for Sports
First Year - Semester I
Course outline: The course explores the language needed to communicate in the field of sports, with emphasis on the four skills, reading, speaking, writing and listening. It also intends to help learners to consult further resources in their field, to do research and elaborate papers, articles on subjects of interest.
Goal: The materials cover the need of specialized language in the field of sports, to help learners communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to enhance their chances to build research and relational skills, and to increase efficiency in their work and study.
