SECOND YEAR  - LAW 
Part I , Semester 1


Course outline : English for Law - Second year, Part 1 consists of courses using words in various fields of law, such as international law, family law, forensics, environmental law, contract law, witness questioning and others, providing an opportunity to learn the language necessary to communicate in the field. 

The lectures, exercises, worksheets and quizzes focus on the development of reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. The list of topics provides links to the courses online to develop and refine your skills. 

Taking this course and completing it opens new opportunities of communication and research in the legal field, necessary in an English-speaking environment, with the flexibility to switch between Romanian and English with ease, as the course has a bilingual approach. It has been elaborated according to the guidelines of ILEC (International Legal English Cambridge).

GoalThe students will acquire and use the basic legal language for oral and written communication in their field of study, understand and translate documents, and use the language in an English-speaking work environment.
